About Us

Welcome to our educational travel company

Founded in 1985, CRIZMAC Art and Cultural Education Materials, Inc. began as a publishing company dedicated to the creation of art and cultural curriculum resources for schools and institutions. As the years progressed, these products were available through our catalog, which expanded to include folk art, children’s literature, music, and resources for teachers and art lovers. The overwhelming response and interest in the arts promoted the beginning of our travel program in the mid-1990s. From 2000 to 2015, we operated our retail store, The CRIZMAC Marketplace, which offered an enticing selection of folk art, books, music, jewelry, and gifts items. Lectures, classes, and gallery shows were held at The Marketplace.

With 40 years of experience in the arts and producing multicultural education materials, we are still actively engaged in the profession. Our travel program offers enriching trips for the general public and educators. Today our website offers a selection of curriculum DVDs and books.

In 2011, our first book titled, “Day of the Dead,” was published by Gibbs Smith. Due to a very enthusiastic response to the book, our second title, “Day of the Dead Folk Art,” was released in 2015. We are available to give lectures, teach classes, and offer book signings in collaboration with local organizations and professional groups.
